Adoption Support: Throughout every part of the adoption process in Haiti, you will be assisted by our Haiti Program Director Ernst Pierre. He will help you in completing your dossier which is the compilation of the necessary paper and documents that Haiti requires to approve your adoption. Mr. Pierre coordinates our adoptions and visits with our orphanage, Faith in Love and Action, which is located in the Jacmel region of Haiti.
Ernst Pierre is licensed to practice law as a lawyer in Haiti since 1992 and a U.S. Paralegal that has lived in the US since 2003. Mr. Pierre has worked for the Haitian government as a legal adviser, for a United Nations mission in Haiti as a trainer in mediation and conflict resolution. He has also led many human rights and peace works with local and international NGOs and socio professional and religious organizations such as Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), Peace Brigades International (PBI), Justice and Peace, Group of Trainers for Peace, Pax Christi Haiti, Haitian Center for Teaching Peace. After having attended one-year intensive paralegal program at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Mr. Pierre has been working with the Haitian community in south Florida by helping them to resolve immigration issues.
Ernst Pierre is a wonderful asset to facilitate your adoption as he speaks English, French and Creole and is our professional link between the authorities and agencies in both the US and Haiti.
